Aayla Secura — Star Wars The Black Series #AOTC 03
The Black Series Aayla Secura — Phase 4 AOTC Collection #03, 2022. The Twi'lek Jedi Knight with blue lightsaber. Photo Real portrait. The only Black Series Aayla Secura. Collector guide.
Overview
Phase 4 AOTC Collection #03 is Aayla Secura — Aayla Secura, Twi’lek Jedi Knight and General in the Clone Wars, one of the prequel Jedi ensemble’s most visually distinctive members, and the Jedi whose Order 66 death on Felucia is carried out by Commander Bly (Red Line #104) — the Clone Commander she had served alongside for years. This is the only Black Series Aayla Secura.

The Character
Aayla Secura’s specific combination of visual distinctiveness — the blue Twi’lek skin, the twin head-tails, the midriff-exposed combat outfit — and narrative resonance makes her one of the prequel ensemble’s most remembered supporting Jedi. She appears in AOTC’s Geonosis arena sequence, fights alongside Anakin and Obi-Wan at the opening of the Clone Wars, and commands Clone forces throughout the war.
Her Order 66 death on Felucia is one of ROTS’s most affecting montage moments: a Jedi General shot in the back by the troopers who served under her. The specific cruelty of the inhibitor chip’s execution — loyalty converted instantly to assassination — is most starkly visible in deaths like Aayla’s, where the relationship between General and troops had been one of genuine command partnership.
The Bly Connection
Displaying Aayla Secura (#AOTC 03) alongside Commander Bly (Red Line #104) creates the specific Felucia pairing — the Jedi General and the Clone Commander assigned to her, the two figures whose canonical relationship ends with Bly executing Order 66. Both figures are available in the Black Series; both are required for the display’s full emotional weight.
The Only Black Series Aayla Secura
One release. No updates planned. The Photo Real portrait captures the specific Amy Allen features and the blue Twi’lek skin tone at 2022 production quality. For any prequel Jedi Council or AOTC Geonosis arena display including Aayla, this is the only option.
Secondary Market
Above-retail secondary market prices — fan-favourite Jedi design, only release, sustained prequel collector demand. Verify lightsaber on secondary market purchases. No production variants documented.
Verdict
The only Black Series Aayla Secura. Buy for the Geonosis arena display, the Bly/Felucia pairing, or AOTC Collection completion.
Aayla Secura’s Design and Fan Response
The specific combination of the blue skin, the twin head-tails, the distinctive AOTC combat outfit, and Amy Allen’s performance created one of the prequel Jedi ensemble’s most immediately recognisable members from a relatively small amount of screen time. Aayla Secura’s appearances in AOTC and ROTS are brief; her Clone Wars animated series presence is more substantial. The collector demand for a definitive Black Series figure was sustained across the Phase 3 era without being fulfilled until Phase 4.
The Photo Real Amy Allen portrait at 2022 production standard is the figure’s technical achievement — the specific Twi’lek blue skin tone and the facial features accurate to the live-action performance.
Felucia and the Order 66 Context
The Felucia Order 66 sequence in ROTS is one of the montage’s most precisely staged: the lush alien jungle, Aayla Secura pausing to look back as her clone escort opens fire, the blaster bolts hitting her. The specific staging — she is shot from behind while looking away — communicates the betrayal’s specific quality: no warning, no confrontation, just the conversion of loyal troops into executioners.
Commander Bly at Red Line #104 and Aayla Secura at #AOTC 03 together represent both sides of that specific Order 66 execution — the only matched Jedi/Commander Order 66 pairing that the Black Series numbered sequences have enabled across Phase 3 and Phase 4.
The AOTC Jedi Ensemble Display
The Phase 4 AOTC Collection’s Jedi figures — Aayla Secura (#AOTC 03), Ki-Adi-Mundi (#AOTC 04) — alongside the Red Line prequel Jedi — Mace Windu (#82), Plo Koon (#109), Kit Fisto (#112) — create the most complete Black Series Jedi Council display the line has enabled. Aayla is the visually distinctive Twi’lek presence that the display was missing until Phase 4.
Aayla Secura at #AOTC 03 is the AOTC Collection’s most emotionally weighted figure — the Jedi General whose Order 66 death is paired with Commander Bly in the Black Series collection. The figure represents the living Aayla; Bly represents the ending. No production variants documented. One release only.
The AOTC Collection’s Jedi figures represent some of the most long-awaited Black Series prequel Jedi — Aayla Secura’s wait from the line’s 2013 origins to 2022 was nearly a decade. The collector patience that waited is rewarded with a Photo Real release at current production standards.
Aayla Secura’s blue skin is the most immediately readable display detail at shelf distance — no other Jedi in the Black Series catalogue shares the specific turquoise-blue skin tone of the Rutian Twi’lek subspecies she represents. She is identifiable in any ensemble without reading any text.
Aayla Secura at #AOTC 03 is also the AOTC Collection’s bridge between the army builders and the Jedi generals — the first named character after two clone configurations. Her placement at #03 communicates the collection’s intent: a Republic army display requires both the troops and the commanders. The standard clones come first (#01, #02), then the Jedi who lead them (#03, #04). The Super Battle Droid (#06) closes with the enemy the clones are fighting.
No production variants documented. One release. The Blue Twi’lek Jedi is irreplaceable in any AOTC display.
Aayla Secura is also the AOTC Collection’s design argument for prequel-era Jedi diversity in plastic form. The Jedi Order of the prequel era included species from across the galaxy — the standard-human Council members are the visual baseline, and the non-human members create the ensemble’s visual range. Aayla’s blue skin and twin lekku are the most striking departure from that baseline in the current collection.
The only Black Series Aayla Secura. There will not be a second chance at this specific configuration.
