Commander Bacara — Star Wars The Black Series #ROTS 02
The Black Series Commander Bacara — Phase 4 ROTS Collection #02, 2025. Galactic Marines commander in Phase 2 grey armour with blaster rifle. 19 joints including butterfly shoulders. The only Black Series Bacara.
Overview
Phase 4 ROTS Collection #02 is Commander Bacara — CC-1138 Bacara, the clone commander of the Galactic Marines’ 21st Nova Corps, assigned to Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi, and the commander who executes Order 66 on Mygeeto — personally firing the shots that kill Ki-Adi-Mundi as he turns to face his own troops. The grey-and-white Phase 2 Galactic Marines armour with the distinctive blue-grey markings is one of ROTS’s most recognisable clone commander configurations.
Blaster rifle. 19 joints including butterfly shoulders. $24.99. 2025. The only Black Series Commander Bacara.
The Character and Order 66 on Mygeeto
Bacara’s specific ROTS moment is one of the Order 66 montage’s most discussed individual executions: Ki-Adi-Mundi — the Jedi Council member who dismissed the Sith’s return — turning to face his clone escort as they open fire, deflecting several blaster bolts before the volume of fire overwhelms him. Bacara personally fires the killing shots.
The display pairing: Commander Bacara (#ROTS 02) alongside Ki-Adi-Mundi (#AOTC 04) creates the specific Mygeeto Order 66 tableau. The two figures were produced in consecutive Phase 4 collection waves — AOTC 04 in 2024, ROTS 02 in 2025 — and were clearly designed to be displayed together.
Galactic Marines Phase 2 Armour
The Galactic Marines wear Phase 2 clone armour with the 21st Nova Corps’ distinctive grey paint scheme and the specific pauldron configuration of their unit. The grey-and-white Galactic Marines design is one of Clone Wars’ most recognisable unit aesthetics — visually distinct from the standard Phase 2 grey (which has less marking) and from the 501st’s blue or Bacara’s own unit’s specific pattern.
19 Joints with Butterfly Shoulders
The butterfly shoulder joints enable the two-handed blaster rifle poses appropriate to the Galactic Marines’ active combat role — the forward-grip, low-profile firing stances of infantry in active planetary engagement.

Verdict
The only Black Series Commander Bacara. Buy for the Order 66 Mygeeto display with Ki-Adi-Mundi or ROTS Collection completion.
The Galactic Marines and ROTS
The Galactic Marines (212nd Attack Battalion’s 21st Nova Corps) were one of the Clone Wars’ most prominently depicted specialist units — deployed to harsh environments, equipped with specific cold-weather and combat gear, and led by Bacara with a personal intensity unusual even among clone commanders. Their ROTS deployment on Mygeeto is their most canonically significant appearance: the Order 66 execution alongside Ki-Adi-Mundi.
Bacara’s armour design is one of the ROTS-era’s most distinctive clone configurations: the Phase 2 base with the Galactic Marines’ specific pauldron design, the grey-and-white colour scheme, and the distinctive helmet modification that gives Bacara’s command configuration its specific profile.
The Order 66 Pairing
The Bacara/Ki-Adi-Mundi Order 66 display is one of the Black Series’ most intentionally paired cross-collection displays — AOTC 04 (Ki-Adi-Mundi, 2024) and ROTS 02 (Bacara, 2025) released in consecutive production years specifically to serve the display that ROTS’s Order 66 montage creates. The two figures were designed to be purchased together; they’re the only pairing in the Phase 4 system that covers both sides of the same specific Order 66 execution.
Bacara’s Clone Individuality
Commander Bacara is one of the Clone Wars’ more distinctively characterised commanders — where Rex is defined by his loyalty, Cody by his professionalism, and Bly by his relationship with Aayla, Bacara is defined by his intensity. He is a soldier’s soldier, committed to the mission above everything. That commitment is what makes Order 66 so complete for his unit: Bacara follows the order the way he follows every order.
Bacara at #ROTS 02 is the ROTS Collection’s most immediately display-paired figure — buying Bacara without planning to buy Ki-Adi-Mundi (#AOTC 04) leaves half the display incomplete. The Mygeeto Order 66 tableau requires both; the collection makes both available across Phase 4 production quality.
Bacara and Galle together are also the ROTS Collection’s most complete single-scene recreation — the Mygeeto operation has both its command tier represented in consecutive numbered slots. No other ROTS Collection display is as tightly scene-specific.
No production variants documented. Standard retail. Blaster rifle should be verified on secondary market purchases. The only Black Series Commander Bacara.
Commander Bacara is the ROTS Collection’s most historically specific figure — his entire significance is as the commander who executes one particular Order 66. Not a generic clone commander, not an army builder in the traditional sense, but the specific officer whose inhibitor chip activated on Mygeeto and whose blaster ended Ki-Adi-Mundi’s life. That specificity is what makes the figure valuable and what makes it inseparable from Ki-Adi-Mundi (#AOTC 04).
The ROTS Collection’s Galactic Marines display — Bacara (#ROTS 02) and Galle (#ROTS 03) — is also the most complete clone commander/lieutenant pair the Black Series has produced across both Phase 3 and Phase 4. Commander Bly (P3-104) arrived in the Red Line without a paired lieutenant; Bacara gets his. That completeness is the ROTS Collection’s most specific display achievement.
Buy Bacara. Buy Ki-Adi-Mundi. Display them facing each other on Mygeeto. That is the display the ROTS and AOTC Collections were built to enable.
Commander Bacara is the kind of figure that a certain type of Star Wars collector has been waiting for since the line began — the named clone commander from a specific Order 66 scene, finally in Black Series plastic with Phase 4 articulation.
The grey-and-white Galactic Marines design is among the Clone Wars era’s most aesthetically accomplished unit identities.
One release. No updates planned. Buy now — the Mygeeto display waits for both figures to be present.
Bacara’s Phase 2 Galactic Marines armour is also worth noting as one of the few ROTS Collection figures with fully Phase 2 engineering — the evolved clone armour of the Clone Wars’ later stages rather than the Phase 1 of AOTC. The Phase 2 helmet design, with its more streamlined profile and modified visor, creates a visually distinct figure from the AOTC Collection’s Phase 1 troopers even before the Galactic Marines’ specific grey markings are considered.
