Overview

Din Djarin (Holocomm) is a ShopDisney and HasbroPulse exclusive released November 2023 at $34.99, part of the Black Series Holocomm Collection sub-line. This is the Mandalorian — the bounty hunter at the centre of the The Mandalorian series — in his beskar armour, the version most associated with Seasons 1 and 2. The figure is a repaint of the 2020 Black Series Din Djarin sculpt with the Holocomm sub-line accessories added.

The Holocomm Collection Sub-Line

The Holocomm Collection is a Phase 4 exclusive programme launched in 2023, packaging premium Black Series figures with two additions unavailable in standard retail releases: a light-up Holo Puck and a Bounty Chip. The Holo Puck illuminates when pressed, referencing the holographic communication and bounty tracking technology central to the Mandalorian universe — fitting that Din Djarin, a bounty hunter, is among the first figures in the collection. The sub-line spans ten figures across 2023–2024, distributed across different exclusive channels including Walmart, Amazon, Target, Fan Channel, ShopDisney, and HasbroPulse.

The Figure

19 joints — the full standard Phase 4 articulation: ball-jointed dual-axis neck, ball-jointed shoulders, elbows, wrists, upper body, hips, swivel thighs, swivel joints above and below knees, ball-jointed ankles. Din Djarin’s rigid beskar armour means the articulation is used for weapon-holding and combat poses rather than wide ranges of movement, but 19 joints gives solid posing flexibility throughout.

Accessories

Blaster — fits exceptionally well into the right hand with the index finger sitting on the trigger. The holster is the correct size and houses the blaster properly — a detail worth noting since poorly proportioned holsters are a recurring frustration in the 6” line. The blaster also fits in a two-hand grip for display.

Blaster rifle — the larger weapon, holds well in both hands with a two-handed grip achievable.

Jet-Pack — plugs into a hole in the back of the figure and sits firmly. No loose fit issues.

Plastic Cape — the soft-goods-adjacent Mandalorian cape in plastic form, draped over the figure.

Light-up Holo Puck — the signature Holocomm Collection accessory. Fits the bounty hunter context perfectly.

Bounty Chip — Holocomm Collection standard.

The 2020 Sculpt Base

The source documentation confirms this is a repaint of the 2020 Black Series Din Djarin sculpt. If you already own that figure, the Holocomm version’s differentiation is the paint variation, the cape, and critically the Holo Puck and Bounty Chip. If you don’t own a Din Djarin in beskar armour yet, this is a well-equipped version with a strong accessory spread at the $34.99 price point.

Beskar Armour Accuracy

The beskar armour — the silvery Mandalorian plate that Din earns and accumulates across Season 1 — is the defining visual of the character. The sculpt captures the layered armour plates, the T-visor helmet, and the overall silhouette accurately. No head beneath the helmet; the character never removes it in this configuration.

ShopDisney and HasbroPulse Availability

Released through both ShopDisney.com and HasbroPulse.com in November 2023. Dual-channel availability gave collectors two routes to purchase at launch, reducing the pressure compared to single-channel exclusives. Both platforms are direct-to-consumer with straightforward purchasing and shipping. International collectors may find HasbroPulse more accessible depending on region.

The Mandalorian and Bounty Hunting Context

Din Djarin operates in the bounty hunter underworld of the Star Wars galaxy — a lone Mandalorian warrior taking contracts across the Outer Rim, eventually upending his mission to protect Grogu. The Holo Puck as an accessory directly references the bounty pucks that hunters use to track and identify targets, making it contextually the most thematically appropriate Holocomm accessory in the entire sub-line. It’s not just a premium add-on here — it’s accurate to the character’s profession in a way that makes the Holocomm Collection concept feel genuinely considered rather than arbitrary.

Secondary Market

ShopDisney / HasbroPulse, November 2023. Single-boxed. Verify blaster, blaster rifle, jet-pack, cape, Holo Puck, and Bounty Chip. The jet-pack and the cape are the pieces most likely separated from a loose figure. Confirm the jet-pack still pegs into the back hole firmly.

Verdict

Din Djarin Holocomm is one of the stronger entries in the sub-line — a well-equipped Mandalorian with a functional holster, excellent trigger-finger right hand, two weapons, jet-pack, and the contextually perfect Holo Puck bounty accessory. If you’re building a Mandalorian display or want the definitive Din Djarin in beskar, this is the version to own.

Part of Star Wars The Black Series | Phase 4 | Holocomm Collection.

The Mandalorian’s Place in Modern Star Wars

The Mandalorian launched Disney+ in 2019 and was the first live-action Star Wars series. Din Djarin became one of the most popular characters introduced in the Disney era almost immediately — a quiet, competent, honour-bound warrior whose protectiveness of Grogu drove one of the franchise’s most emotionally effective arcs. The character has sustained three seasons, guest appearances in other series, and a dedicated collector following. Among Mandalorian figures in the Black Series 6” line, Din Djarin in beskar armour is the baseline must-own, and the Holocomm version with its Holo Puck accessory gives the bounty hunter context the most accurate thematic addition of any Mandalorian release.

Display Pairing

Within the Holocomm Collection, Din Djarin pairs directly with Bo-Katan Kryze and Axe Woves for a complete Mandalorian Season 3 trio. All three are at $34.99 with jetpacks and helmets — matched equipment levels across the group. Outside the Holocomm Collection, the beskar armour Din pairs with Grogu, Luke Skywalker (Season 2 cameo), and the various Mandalorian companion and antagonist figures from the Phase 4 line. A Mandalorian shelf centred on this figure is one of the strongest thematic displays Phase 4 makes possible.

The Holster Detail as a Quality Benchmark

The holster on this figure correctly houses the blaster — a detail that sounds trivial but isn’t. A significant number of Phase 4 and Phase 3 figures have holsters that are either too large or too small for their included blasters, creating a loose-fit problem that undermines display options. When the source documentation specifically flags that the holster is “the perfect size,” that’s a collector signal: this figure handles and displays correctly, which is the baseline expectation that not every release meets.
