Marking the historic debut of the 6-inch scale collector line, this Star Wars: The Black Series release of Luke Skywalker in his X-Wing Pilot fatigues changed the landscape of Star Wars collecting in 2013. Capturing the hero of the Rebellion as he appeared during the climactic Battle of Yavin in A New Hope, this figure emphasized screen-accurate proportions and a level of detail previously reserved for larger scale boutique collectibles.

- Character Likeness: For its time, the head sculpt was a significant leap forward, capturing Mark Hamill’s youthful features with a focused, heroic expression. The sculpted hair is designed to sit naturally under the helmet without looking compressed.
- Flight Suit Detail: The orange flight suit is rich with textural detail, from the ribbed stitching on the sleeves to the functional-looking life support unit on the chest. The various hoses and buckles are separately sculpted or highly defined to add layers of mechanical realism.
