While the Wookiee warrior has seen numerous releases across the 3.75-inch scale, this version was specifically packaged under A New Hope branding. It aimed to provide the definitive "Classic Trilogy" Chewie for the modern line, emphasizing his height and the textured detail of his fur without the "animated" stylings of previous eras.

Technical Details & Sculpt

• Character Likeness: The sculpt accurately captures the towering height of Peter Mayhew, standing significantly taller than the human figures in the line. The facial sculpt features a closed-mouth, determined expression, and the "Photo-real" application on the eyes gives the character a soulful, lifelike quality.
• Fur & Deco: The figure is rendered in a multi-toned brown plastic with a heavy dark wash to highlight the individual tufts of fur. The transitions between the lighter tan on his face and the chocolate brown of his body are handled with a natural gradient, avoiding the "plastic" look of older versions.
• Articulation: Featuring premium TVC articulation, including ball-jointed wrists and rocker ankles. Despite the bulk of the fur sculpt, the joints are well-integrated, allowing Chewie to hold his bowcaster in a stable two-handed firing position or raise his arms in a triumphant roar.
• Display Utility: As the heart of the original trilogy's hero cast, VC141 is the essential companion for Han Solo (VC126) or Luke Skywalker (VC158). He is a "must-have" for the cockpit of any Millennium Falcon display.

Accessories & Equipment

Chewbacca comes equipped with his signature Bowcaster, which features a removable "quarrel" (bolt) and a metallic silver finish on the bow assemblies. He also includes his iconic bandolier, which is a separate, removable piece sculpted with distinct pouches and a weathered metallic finish on the lead-alloy casings. The bandolier drapes naturally across his shoulder, staying in place even during dynamic posing.
