The "shiny" backbone of the Republic made its disciplined debut in The Vintage Collection in 2011 as part of Wave 6. Representing the fresh-off-the-line soldiers that arrived at the Petranaki Arena in Attack of the Clones, this version of the Clone Trooper was the definitive "army builder" release. It utilized a then-new, highly articulated mold that finally allowed the 3.75-inch infantry to achieve the iconic two-handed rifle poses and kneeling stances seen during the first major engagement of the Clone Wars.

Technical Details & Sculpt

  • Design & Phase I Aesthetics: The sculpt is a crisp recreation of the original Phase I armor, featuring the signature finned helmet and the sleek, less-individualized plating of the early war. The armor is finished in a high-gloss white, capturing the "factory fresh" look of the troops before years of combat weathering took hold.
  • Deco & Likeness: The 2011 release features a hand-painted application for the unmasked head sculpt. It captures the stoic, uniform appearance of the Jango Fett clones, with a clean separation between the black body-glove and the white armor plates. The T-visor on the helmet is painted with a sharp, glossy black finish.
  • Articulation: Featuring premium TVC articulation, including ball-jointed shoulders, elbows, and knees. The ball-jointed hips and "rocker" ankles were a massive upgrade at the time, specifically engineered to allow the trooper to fit into the cockpits of Republic Gunships or the seats of AT-TE Walkers.
  • Display Utility: This is the essential "rank-and-file" figure for any Battle of Geonosis or Kamino Training diorama. He is best displayed in large squads alongside Mace Windu (VC35) or leading the charge behind Yoda (VC20).

Accessories & Equipment

The Clone Trooper comes prepared for a planetary-scale conflict. He includes his signature DC-15A blaster rifle and a DC-15S blaster carbine, both rendered in a dark metallic grey. A standout feature of the 2011 release is the removable helmet, which fits snugly over the head without appearing oversized—a common issue with earlier lines. Additionally, the figure features a functional peg on the back, allowing for the storage of one weapon while the other is in use.
