The elite specialized soldiers of Imperial Intelligence, the Imperial Death Trooper, made a striking entrance into The Vintage Collection in 2018 as part of Wave 18. First seen in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as the personal bodyguards of Director Krennic, these troopers are characterized by their tall, slender frames and intimidating all-black armor. This TVC release was highly sought after for its "super-articulated" engineering, far surpassing the restricted movement of previous 3.75-inch versions.

• Design & Silhouette: This figure captures the uniquely elongated proportions of the Death Troopers. The helmet features the signature green-tinted ocular sensors and specialized atmospheric scramblers. The sculpt is finished in a high-gloss "Obsidian" black that captures the menacing aesthetic of the elite units.
• Deco & Detail: Despite being almost entirely black, the figure features subtle matte applications on the undersuit and utility pouches to create visual depth. The small green "lights" on the helmet's chin are painted with precision, providing a sharp contrast to the dark armor.
• Articulation: Featuring premium TVC articulation, including ball-jointed wrists and rocker ankles. The slim armor design allows for an exceptional range of motion, enabling the trooper to adopt the iconic "low-profile" tactical stances seen during the skirmishes on Scarif and Jedha.

Accessories & Equipment

The Imperial Death Trooper comes heavily armed for specialized warfare. He includes a SE-14r light repeating blaster and the E-11D blaster rifle. Both weapons are molded in a dark charcoal plastic. Additionally, the figure features a removable tactical chest rig and a functional holster on the right hip, allowing for various display configurations from "standard guard" to "heavy specialist."
