The reprogrammed Imperial security droid with a penchant for dry wit and blunt statistical analysis, K-2SO makes a long-awaited appearance in The Vintage Collection. Released in 2020 as part of Wave 28, this figure captures the towering presence of Cassian Andor's loyal companion from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, utilizing a unique sculpt designed to maintain stability despite the droid's spindly, top-heavy design.

Technical Details & Sculpt

  • Character Likeness: The sculpt accurately reflects the droid's 7-foot-tall cinematic stature, scaled precisely for the 3.75-inch line. The head features translucent light-piping for the eyes (depending on lighting), capturing that eerie, soul-less look characteristic of Imperial security units.
  • Deco & Finish: The figure is finished in a matte charcoal black with silver "wear" patterns on the joints and high-friction areas. The Imperial crests on the shoulders are applied with high-contrast white digital printing, appearing slightly faded to reflect K-2's years of service with the Rebellion.
  • Articulation: K-2SO features highly specialized articulation to account for his unique anatomy. This includes ball-jointed ankles, knees, hips, and a swivel torso. His long arms feature ball-jointed shoulders and elbows, allowing him to replicate both his "stand-by" posture and his frantic combat style.
  • Display Utility: As a core member of the Rogue One team, K-2SO is a necessary companion for Cassian Andor (VC146). He provides a great vertical contrast to the human-scale rebels and is essential for recreating the infiltration of the Scarif data vault.

Accessories & Equipment

K-2SO comes equipped with a captured SE-14C blaster pistol, the same model he famously uses during the battle on Scarif. The figure’s hand sculpts are specifically designed to grip the blaster securely, and despite the droid's thin limbs, the joints are engineered with enough friction to hold the weapon in aiming poses without sagging.
