• Design & Texture: The sculpt is highly detailed, specifically capturing the unique "crinkled" texture of Kylo's mid-coat and the heavy ribbing on his sleeves. The helmet features the signature silver-painted inlay around the visor and simulated battle-damage scuffs, giving it a gritty, industrial feel.
• Attire & Deco: Kylo is clad in his layered black robes, which utilize a combination of sculpted plastic and soft-goods. The outer surcoat is sculpted to maintain a sharp silhouette, while the lower robes are made of fabric to allow for a full range of leg movement without the plastic "pop" seen in basic figures.
• Articulation: Featuring premium TVC articulation, including ball-jointed wrists and rocker ankles. This allows for the wide, aggressive combat stances Kylo utilizes during the duel on Starkiller Base.
• Display Utility: As the primary antagonist of the Sequel Trilogy's beginning, VC117 is the essential counterpart to Rey (Jakku). He is best displayed leading a squad of First Order Stormtroopers (VC118) or positioned in a tense standoff with Han Solo.

Kylo Ren comes equipped with his iconic crossguard lightsaber. The accessory is molded in a dark metallic plastic with a translucent red "crackle" effect on the blades to simulate the unstable nature of his kyber crystal. Additionally, the figure includes a removable soft-goods hood and cowl, allowing collectors to display him with the hood up for a more mysterious look or with the cowl resting on his shoulders.
