The mysterious and towering Yarkora informant, Saelt-Marae (originally known by the Kenner name "Yak Face"), returned to The Vintage Collection in 2023. While the initial VC132 release occurred in 2018, this 2023 reissue was part of a Fan Channel initiative to restock essential denizens for the Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary. This figure remains a holy grail for many due to the character's legendary status in the original vintage line.

Technical Details & Sculpt

• Character Likeness: The sculpt is a definitive representation of the Yarkora species. It captures the long, equine face and the distinctive tufts of white hair on the chin and jowls. The 2023 reissue features a slightly more refined Photo-real application on the eyes, giving the informant a more calculating and predatory look.
• Attire & Deco: Saelt-Marae is clad in his layered, tan-and-brown desert robes. The sculpt mimics the heavy, textured fabric of the costume seen in Jabba's Palace. The paint deco includes a dark wash that settles into the "fur" and fabric folds, simulating the grime of a life spent in the Outer Rim.
• Articulation: Despite his bulky robes, the figure features premium TVC articulation. The lower portion of his robe is made of a flexible, rubberized material that allows the ball-jointed hips and rocker ankles to function, enabling him to stand stably on the deck of a desert skiff.
• Display Utility: Saelt-Marae is a "must-have" for the Khetanna (Jabba's Sail Barge). He is best positioned in the background of the throne room or near the bar, eavesdropping on the conversations of Rebel intruders and palace conspirators.

Accessories & Equipment

True to his original 1985 counterpart, Saelt-Marae comes equipped with a Yarkora staff (vibro-staff). The accessory is molded in a sturdy metallic-grey plastic with a weathered finish. His hands are sculpted in a specialized grip that allows him to hold the staff in a variety of casual or defensive postures.
