The elite infantry of the Galactic Empire returned to The Vintage Collection in 2011 as a specialized San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) exclusive variant. Representing the troopers as they appeared during the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi, this version of VC41 was part of the highly coveted "Revenge of the Jedi" Death Star set. While the sculpt remains the definitive Imperial soldier, the packaging and specific 1983-style aesthetic were designed to celebrate the film's original working title, making this a centerpiece for "MOC" (Mint On Card) collectors.

• Design & ROTJ Aesthetics: The sculpt features the specific helmet and armor configuration seen during the forest moon skirmish. This version is distinguished by the "black frown" paint on the helmet’s vocoder and the slightly more streamlined abdominal plating used by the production team during the 1983 filming.
• Deco & Finish: The SDCC release is defined by its high-gloss white finish, capturing the "shiny" Imperial look before the Ewok ambush began. The paint application on the black body-glove is exceptionally clean, with no "bleed" into the white armor plates. The blue tube stripes on the helmet are rendered with a precise, saturated hue.
• Articulation: Featuring premium TVC articulation, including ball-jointed shoulders, elbows, and knees. The "rocker" ankles and ball-jointed hips allow the trooper to maintain a steady, wide-legged stance on a Tatooine Skiff or to sit realistically in an Imperial Shuttle seat.

The Stormtrooper comes prepared for a planetary defense. He includes his signature E-11 blaster rifle, featuring a dark metallic finish and a detailed scope. A standout feature of the VC41 release is the functional holster on his left hip; unlike earlier lines, this holster is correctly scaled to house the blaster snugly while the trooper is "at attention." The figure also features the standard-issue thermal detonator permanently attached to the rear of the belt, completing the classic silhouette of the Imperial shock trooper.
