The most sought-after asset in the galaxy, The Child (Grogu), makes his debut in the Star Wars: The Vintage Collection. Released in 2021 as part of Wave 32, this figure represents a unique challenge for the 3.75-inch scale. Despite his tiny stature, the figure is packed with personality and the essential accessories that define his journey alongside Din Djarin in The Mandalorian.

Technical Details & Sculpt

• Character Likeness: To ensure accuracy, the sculpt captures the oversized ears and wide-eyed innocence of the character. The head features photo-real deco, specifically on the eyes and the slight fuzz on the scalp, which provides a surprisingly lifelike look for a figure of this size.
• Attire: The figure is depicted in his signature oversized tan robe. The sculpt includes the heavy fabric texture and the "potato-sack" fold around the collar. While the body is a single solid piece, the arms are articulated at the shoulders to allow for "Force-using" or "reaching" poses.
• Articulation: Given the scale (barely reaching an inch in height), articulation is focused on the essentials: ball-jointed neck and swivel shoulders. This allows for various head tilts and arm movements, sufficient for recreating his most famous moments from Season 1.
• Display Utility: As the "Asset," this figure is the perfect companion for The Mandalorian (VC181) or IG-11. He can be displayed standing at his protector's feet or interacting with the various accessories provided in the set.

Accessories & Equipment

Because the figure itself is so small, Hasbro included a wealth of character-specific accessories to round out the release. The Child comes with his hover pram (complete with a clear flight stand and removable cover), his favorite Sorgan frog (molded in translucent green), a soup bowl, and the silver shift knob from the Razor Crest.
