The curious scout of the Bright Tree Village made his debut in The Vintage Collection in late 2010 as part of Wave 3. Representing Wicket as he first encountered Princess Leia in the dense forests of Endor in Return of the Jedi, this figure was a revelation for Ewok collectors. It moved away from the more static "teddy bear" designs of the 90s to provide a super-articulated, realistically textured version of the small but fierce warrior who would go on to lead the Rebellion to victory against the Empire’s finest legions.

Technical Details & Sculpt

  • Design & Ewok Silhouette: The sculpt features an incredibly dense, layered fur texture that covers the entire body. Despite Wicket's diminutive stature, the figure maintains accurate proportions, capturing his stocky build and the inquisitive, slightly tilted head that defined Warwick Davis's performance.
  • Deco & Natural Tones: The 2010 release is defined by its multi-tonal paint application. The base is a deep chestnut brown, with lighter tan highlights dry-brushed onto the face, chest, and hands to simulate natural fur variation. The glossy black eyes provide a sharp, lifelike contrast that reflects his cautious but brave personality.
  • Articulation: Featuring surprising articulation for a small figure, including ball-jointed shoulders, elbows, and hips. The swivel wrists and ball-jointed neck allow Wicket to look up at his Rebel allies or to be posed in a dynamic spear-thrusting stance during the Battle of Endor.
  • Display Utility: This is the mandatory "scout" for any Endor Forest or Ewok Village diorama. He is best positioned offering a snack to Princess Leia (VC02) or hiding in the brush near an Imperial Scout Trooper.

Accessories & Equipment

Wicket comes prepared to defend his home moon with primitive but effective technology. He includes his signature wooden spear and a weathered cowl with a stitched appearance. A standout feature of the 2010 release is the removable hood; the soft-plastic accessory is sculpted to sit naturally on his head and shoulders. He also includes a scout bag with a cross-body strap and a small stone knife that fits into a functional sheath on his belt, ensuring he is fully equipped for a long patrol through the forest.
