Overview
The AT-ACT Driver is a Target March 2017 exclusive at $19.99 — the Imperial combat driver responsible for piloting the AT-ACT walkers during the Battle of Scarif in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. A specialised walker operator visible both piloting the walkers in the film and running in the background inside the Imperial facility. 19 joints — ball-jointed dual-axis neck, ball-jointed shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, swivel thighs, swivel joints above and below knees, ball-jointed ankles.
The Figure
The armour incorporates super articulation with well-hidden joints — the seams and pivot points blend into the design rather than interrupting it. Nicely sculpted detail throughout: buckles holding the shoulder straps, panel work sculpted into the back, and detailed abdominal plating. The armour was given slight weathering — some dirt and wear on the boots and very subtle dirt on the front and back of the chest. One blaster is included and fits well in both hands. No removable parts on the armour, no head under the helmet.
The Rogue One Context
The AT-ACT (All Terrain Armoured Cargo Transport) was the Scarif variant of the AT-AT, adapted for cargo hauling at the Imperial data vault. The combat drivers piloting them wear a distinctive uniform with environmental suits designed for extended walker operations. As a Rogue One background-character vehicle operator, the AT-ACT Driver is a niche but accurate addition to any Scarif display.
