Overview

Jyn Erso (Eadu) is a K-Mart October 2016 exclusive at $24.99 — the 6” Black Series Jyn in her Eadu mission configuration: the poncho, helmet, and gas mask she wears during the planet Eadu infiltration sequence in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. 20 joints — ball-jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, upper body, hips, swivel thighs, swivel joints above the knees, below the knees, above the ankles, and ball-jointed ankles. Six accessories make this one of the most fully equipped Rogue One Black Series releases.

Six Accessories

Baton — fits into a hook on the front of Jyn’s belt. Holds well in either hand.

Blaster — fits into the holster. Holds well in both hands.

Imperial blaster rifle — the longer weapon, holds well in both hands.

Removable helmet — fits nicely over the head. The goggles and microphone are sculpted onto the helmet rather than being separately removable — they move with the helmet as one piece. The helmet covers the head well front and back.

Removable gas mask — can be taken off the figure independently from the helmet, giving multiple display configurations: bare face, gas mask only, or full helmet.

Eadu rock display base — sculpted rock formation with two pegs where Jyn’s feet can be plugged in. Jyn’s boots have the standard peg holes in the soles. The base adds a strong environmental element to the display. Even without the base, Jyn stands securely without balancing issues.

The Sculpt

Hasbro sculpted this Jyn Erso beautifully. The poncho detail is exceptional: wrinkles in the fabric, a small tear in the back, a sculpted-on hood, pouches and various straps all rendered with care. The paint application matches the sculpt quality — lots of dirt on the poncho’s front and back gives the impression of someone who has been through some rough missions. The poncho is not removable, but the level of detail makes it work as a permanent display element.

Display Configurations

The removable gas mask and helmet create meaningful display options: mission ready with full helmet and gas mask, field configuration with helmet only, or bareheaded display showing the face sculpt. The Eadu base provides the environmental anchor. The three-weapon loadout covers blaster, rifle, and baton for any display pose.

Secondary Market

K-Mart October 2016. Verify six accessories: baton, blaster, Imperial blaster rifle, helmet, gas mask, display base and its two foot pegs. The gas mask is the smallest and easiest to lose from a loose set.

Verdict

Jyn Erso (Eadu) is the most accessory-complete Jyn Erso in the Black Series programme — six accessories, an exceptional sculpt, and heavy-duty weathering that puts her among the better-detailed figures of the Phase 3 era. The Eadu rock base is a genuinely effective display piece. The helmet/gas mask combination for multiple configurations is a smart design choice.
