Overview
Captain Cardinal (Galaxy’s Edge) is a Target exclusive released August 30th 2020 at $24.99 — a Galaxy’s Edge character from the novel Phasma and the parks’ backstory, serving as Armitage Hux’s personal guard. The figure is a repaint of the Executioner Stormtrooper (id=8014), which itself was built on the 2015 SDCC First Order Stormtrooper body (id=3403). The defining visual is the all-red armour — Cardinal stands out immediately on a First Order shelf. 19 joints — ball-jointed dual-axis neck, lower swivel neck, ball-jointed shoulders, elbows, wrists, upper body, hips, swivel thighs, swivel joints above and below knees, ball-jointed ankles. Also found at Tatooine Traders at Walt Disney World.
The Red Armour and Helmet
The helmet has a more pronounced and higher-sitting frown than the standard First Order Stormtrooper — a subtle but distinguishing detail that came with the Executioner Stormtrooper tooling. The body is painted entirely in red and black with no battle damage or dirt applied. The paint is described as well-done overall but feels simple — the lack of any weathering makes the figure look clean rather than field-worn.
Three Accessories
Blaster — plugs into a hole on the right thigh for storage. Trigger-finger on the right hand.
Blaster rifle — trigger-finger placement on both weapons. Cardinal can hold either in each hand.
Soft-goods cape — the most interesting accessory logistically. The cape is technically removable, but only by popping the head off the body to slide it over the neck — a difficult process that the source documentation does not recommend. Treat it as effectively permanent.

Captain Cardinal delivers a striking visual — all-red armour distinguishes him immediately in any First Order display — at a standard Galaxy’s Edge price.
