Overview
The Elite Snowtrooper (single-boxed) is a Target December 2019 exclusive at $24.99 — the same figure as the October 2019 Mystery Box version (id=22570), released two months later in standard packaging without the bonus pin, hat, and comic. A slight repaint of the basic First Order Snowtrooper (id=3659) with differently coloured chest box and backpack buttons and greeblies. 19 joints — full ball-jointed configuration including upper body, with swivel thighs and swivel joints above and below knees.
The Figure
Four accessories: blaster, thick premium soft-goods robe (tied via string, slightly long — adjustable with patience), fabric piece for the backpack, and the backpack itself which plugs firmly into the back hole. The robe quality is notably premium — thick fabric rather than thin. Two-hand blaster grip possible. No head under the helmet. Soft plastic kama around the waist can be pulled off. Well-hidden joints throughout. Ralph McQuarrie-inspired design gives this trooper visual distinctiveness compared to the standard FO Snowtrooper.
Mystery Box vs Standard
The figure and all four figure accessories are identical between this and the Mystery Box release. The $15 premium on the Mystery Box buys the First Order pin, wool hat, and exclusive-cover Allegiance #1 comic. If those extras matter, the Mystery Box is the version to get; if you just want the figure, this is the more sensible choice at $24.99.
