Hondo Ohnaka (Galaxy’s Edge) is a Target exclusive released August 30th 2020 at $24.99 — a single-boxed re-release of the Hondo Ohnaka from the Disney Parks exclusive Galaxy’s Edge Smuggler’s Run 5-pack (id=20410). The Weequay pirate and proprietor of Ohnaka Transport Solutions runs contraband operations out of Black Spire Outpost on Batuu, where he serves as a host character for the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run ride at Galaxy’s Edge. 18 joints — ball-jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, upper body, hips, swivel thighs, swivel joints above and below knees, ball-jointed ankles. Also found at Tatooine Traders at Walt Disney World.
Two Accessories
Blaster — fits very nicely in the left hand with trigger-finger placement. The left hand is the primary grip hand for this figure.
Removable coat — the main coat body is removable, but the coat’s sleeves are sculpted and painted directly onto the figure’s arms. Removing the coat body leaves the sleeves in place — same limitation as other coat-equipped figures in the programme.
The Sculpt Detail
Hondo comes with necklaces around the neck and differently coloured hair clips in his hair — smaller details that add character to what is already a distinctive-looking alien. The hat and goggles are permanently glued on and cannot be removed.
Packaging Variation
A documented packaging variation exists for this release: the box was available with either the Resistance emblem or the First Order emblem on the side panel. The figure itself is identical in both versions.
