Overview

Paz Vizsla at the Credit Collection captures the canonical Heavy Infantry Mandalorian — the heavily armoured clan member with the oversized heavy blaster — through the end-credit artwork aesthetic of The Mandalorian Season 1. Released October 2020 exclusively at Best Buy as part of the inaugural Credit Collection Wave 1 alongside the Target, Amazon, and GameStop figures. Best Buy exclusive at $34.99 — the highest price in the Wave 1 cluster, reflecting the large-scale complex accessory loadout. 19 joints. Six accessories: a jet-pack, two cables, a blaster cannon with removable rotating grip, and a collectible Imperial Credit coin. The figure is a repaint of the 2019 Black Series Heavy Infantry Mandalorian (figure id=23630). Each Wave 1 card features the iconic Kenner logo.

The Six-Accessory Cable System

The Paz Vizsla CC is the most engineering-complex Wave 1 Credit Collection release. The six accessories work as an interconnected system:

Jet-pack — plugs firmly into a hole in the back of the figure. The jet-pack has a hole on the side where the heavy blaster cannon can be attached — this way Paz Vizsla doesn’t have to carry it in his hands, and the cannon-to-jetpack side-mount is a distinctive at-rest display configuration.

Cable 1 — runs from the jet-pack to the flamethrower gauntlet. Connects the propulsion equipment to the arm weapon system.

Cable 2 — runs from the bottom of the jet-pack to the blaster cannon. Connects the power source to the heavy weapon.

Blaster cannon with removable rotating grip — Paz Vizsla can hold it well with both hands. The grip on top of the blaster cannon can be rotated, making it easier to attach the figure’s left hand to it. The rotation is a functional engineering detail solving the geometry challenge of mounting a large two-handed weapon on Mandalorian armoured hands.

The Scale

This figure stands 6.5” (16.51 cm) tall — above the standard Black Series scale, reflecting the canonical heavy infantry above-human-proportion armour silhouette. The belt and plastic skirt in the back are one separately sculpted piece but not removable. The helmet is not removable and the rangefinder/tool on the helmet can’t be moved.

The Wave 1 Context and Best Buy Exclusive

Paz Vizsla is one of two Best Buy-exclusive entries in the Credit Collection (alongside the 2022 Moff Gideon (Credit Collection)). At $34.99, it’s the most expensive Wave 1 Credit Collection figure — above the standard Wave 1 $24.99 tier due to the large scale and complex cable accessory system. Wave 1 Imperial Credit coin included.

The figure had stiff joints and kept its balance even in more dynamic battle stances — no loose ankle issue present (unlike the Greef Karga and Dark Trooper CC figures).

Secondary Market

Single-carded Best Buy exclusive Credit Collection release with Kenner logo cardback, October 2020. Available on the secondary market. Verify all six components — jet-pack, both cables, blaster cannon, rotating grip, and Imperial Credit coin — are present. The two cables are the most easily misplaced components.

Verdict

Paz Vizsla (Credit Collection) is the engineering peak of the Wave 1 Credit Collection — the six-accessory cable system with jet-pack-side-mounted cannon creates a canonical Heavy Infantry Mandalorian combat-ready display unlike any other Wave 1 CC figure, the rotating cannon grip solves left-hand attachment geometry, the above-baseline scale correctly represents the heavy armour silhouette, and the stiff joints support dynamic battle poses without balance issues.

The $34.99 Best Buy exclusive price point is the highest in Wave 1. The cable system requires time to arrange correctly for clean display. As a CC release this is an artistic interpretation in the end-credit artwork palette.
