Star Wars Black Series The Mandalorian
The complete guide to every Star Wars Black Series Mandalorian figure — all 49 releases from 2020 to 2026 including Din Djarin, Grogu, Bo-Katan Kryze, Moff Gideon, The Armorer, and the full Imperial remnant lineup. The largest sub-line in the Galaxy Collection.
The Star Wars Black Series Mandalorian collection is the largest single sub-line in the Galaxy Collection era and the most comprehensively covered property in the entire Star Wars Black Series 6-inch format. With 49 figures released between 2020 and 2026, spanning three seasons of the Disney+ series and extending into the 2026 theatrical film, the Mandalorian sub-line has produced a near-complete cast roster in plastic — from Din Djarin across eight armour configurations to the full Mandalorian covert, every major villain, a deep bench of Imperial remnant troops, and guest characters whose appearances span the wider Disney+ era.
For collectors, the Mandalorian sub-line is both a major opportunity and a genuine challenge. The opportunity is that it represents the most detailed single-property Black Series collection ever assembled — a Mandalorian-focused display can be built at a level of depth and accuracy no previous Star Wars property could match in 6-inch scale. The challenge is scale and selectivity: 49 figures across mainline, Deluxe, and exclusive releases across six years requires either a significant budget or careful prioritisation. This guide covers what to buy, what to skip, and how the sub-line evolved across its run.
What Is the Black Series Mandalorian Collection?
The Black Series Mandalorian collection is the Phase 4 sub-line covering the Disney+ series, numbered MAN 01 through MAN 45 as of 2026. It launched alongside the broader Galaxy Collection transition in 2020 and has received new figures in every production year since. The sub-line uses Photo Real face printing as standard on all human characters — the technology that transformed portrait accuracy across the line from 2019 onward — making these the best-looking versions of these characters Hasbro has produced.
The Mandalorian collection sits within the Galaxy Collection but its characters bleed across multiple sub-lines. Several key figures appear in the Credit Collection as Target-exclusive variants, the Archive Collection as rereleases, the Book of Boba Fett sub-line for characters who crossed over, and even the Ahsoka sub-line for her later appearances. A complete Mandalorian-era display draws from all of these, and this guide covers the core sub-line figures while noting where related releases belong.
How Many Black Series Mandalorian Figures Are There?
The core Mandalorian sub-line contains 49 figures as of 2026. Adding Credit Collection Target exclusives, Archive rereleases, Carbonized variants, and the Hasbro Pulse three-pack brings the total Mandalorian-era figure count to over 60 distinct releases. The sub-line is still in active production — the 2026 film The Mandalorian and Grogu has its own dedicated sub-line and is expected to generate significant further releases alongside the core Mandalorian line.
2020 — The Foundation Wave
The Mandalorian sub-line launched in 2020 with seven figures that established its visual identity immediately. Mandalorian (Beskar Armor) at MAN 01 — Din Djarin in his season 2 beskar suit — set the standard that every subsequent Din Djarin release would be measured against. The Photo Real face printing on the helmet visor and the engineering on the beskar chest plate made it one of the most impressive Galaxy Collection launch figures. Imperial Stormtrooper (Mandalorian) at MAN 02 established the sub-line’s Imperial remnant theme from day one — this is not the standard A New Hope Stormtrooper but the specifically weathered, battle-worn remnant variant from the show.
The Armorer at MAN 04 and the Armorer Deluxe with forge hammer, tongs, and display stand arrived simultaneously — an unusual dual release that gave collectors the choice between a standard figure and a diorama-ready version. The Deluxe is the display pick. The Amazon-exclusive Speeder Bike Scout Trooper and The Child set is the most desirable 2020 release — a vehicle-format set that delivers a complete scene in a single box, with the Scout Trooper on the speeder bike and Grogu in a separate holding bag. It commands a secondary market premium and earned it.
The Remnant Stormtrooper at MAN 09 (Target exclusive) and the Din Djarin and The Child Deluxe at MAN 05 round out the launch year. The 2020 wave established the sub-line’s ambition clearly — this was not going to be a shallow property tie-in but a fully committed cast reconstruction.
2021 — Season 2 Depth
The 2021 wave is where the Mandalorian sub-line found its full footing, adding ten figures that covered the season 2 cast comprehensively. Moff Gideon at MAN 08 with the Darksaber is the standout — the primary villain for the first two seasons, rendered with the kind of face likeness accuracy that Photo Real technology enables, and arriving with a fully realised Darksaber accessory. It remains one of the most sought-after figures from the sub-line’s early run and holds its value on the secondary market.
Bo-Katan Kryze at MAN 10 is equally essential — dual pistols, Darksaber, and a strong face likeness that captures Katee Sackhoff’s portrayal convincingly. The Archive Collection Bo-Katan rerelease subsequently made her more accessible but the MAN 10 original remains the version collectors sought first. Incinerator Trooper at MAN 03 gives the Imperial remnant display one of its most visually distinctive troopers — the red-striped flametrooper configuration is unique to The Mandalorian and has no equivalent elsewhere in the sub-line.
Greef Karga, Kuiil, Q9-0 (ZERO), and Koska Reeves filled out the supporting cast, while the Target-exclusive Paz Vizsla Deluxe gave the heavy weapons Mandalorian warrior his first Black Series release in a format that did justice to his scale.
2022 — Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and the Covert
The 2022 wave brought nine figures and two of the sub-line’s most significant releases. Ahsoka Tano (Corvus) at MAN 19 was the first Black Series Ahsoka figure in a live-action costume after years of animated releases — white robes, twin white lightsabers, Photo Real face likeness — and her arrival confirmed that the Mandalorian sub-line was functioning as the connective tissue of the entire Disney+ era. The subsequent Ahsoka sub-line would build on this foundation, but the Corvus release remains the specific Mandalorian-era version and is not replicated there.
Boba Fett (Tython) at MAN 16 in his recovered Mandalorian armour is the season 2 Boba Fett entry point — gaffi stick, blaster rifle, full armour configuration — before The Book of Boba Fett sub-line took over his deeper coverage. Cobb Vanth Deluxe at MAN 18 used the Deluxe format well, pairing the marshal with Boba’s armour pieces as accessories. Death Watch Mandalorian at MAN 21 gave the army-building Mandalorian warrior faction its first generic trooper variant. Artillery Stormtrooper at MAN 13 (Amazon exclusive) added heavy weapons capability to the Imperial remnant shelf.
2023 — Season 3 and the Luke Skywalker Moment
The largest single production year for the sub-line, 2023 delivered eleven figures across the season 3 cast and some of the best individual releases in the entire collection. Luke Skywalker (Imperial Light Cruiser) at MAN 30 is the clear standout — black robes, green lightsaber, Photo Real face printing at its most accurate, capturing Mark Hamill’s de-aged appearance from the season 2 post-credits scene. It is one of the best Luke Skywalker figures Hasbro has ever produced and belongs on any serious Black Series Luke display alongside the character’s other releases.
Dark Trooper Deluxe at MAN 28 delivered the imposing scale the droid trooper design required — tall, heavy, and visually dominant on a shelf in a way that a standard single figure box could not have achieved. Axe Woves at MAN 25 and Mandalorian Fleet Commander at MAN 34 expanded the covert warrior roster. Magistrate Greef Karga at MAN 24 provided the season 3 configuration of a returning character. Standalone Grogu at MAN 26 gave collectors the character without requiring a paired Din Djarin purchase.
2024 — The Warrior Wave
The 2024 releases leaned into the Mandalorian warrior theme more aggressively than any previous year. Paz Vizsla at MAN 36 in the standard release format delivered the heavy blaster cannon, shield, and imposing scale of the character — one of the better-engineered figures in the sub-line given the accessory load. Mandalorian Nite Owl, Mandalorian Privateer, and Mandalorian Shriek-Hawk gave army builders three distinct warrior variants sharing a base body with different helmet and paint configurations — the most significant single-year expansion of the covert faction since the line began. The Mandalorian (Mines of Mandalore) at MAN 37 covers the season 3 damaged armour configuration. IG-12 & Grogu Deluxe at MAN 41 handles the season 3 droid walker configuration. Imperial Armored Commando at MAN 42 rounded out the Imperial remnant troop options.
The Essential Figures — What to Buy First
For collectors starting a Mandalorian Black Series display, these are the figures that deliver the most value and cannot be replaced by figures from other sub-lines: Mandalorian (Beskar Armor), The Armorer Deluxe, Bo-Katan Kryze, Moff Gideon, Credit Collection Grogu, Paz Vizsla, Dark Trooper Deluxe, and Luke Skywalker (Imperial Light Cruiser). These eight figures establish the display’s core and cover the sub-line’s three main visual themes — Mandalorian warriors, Imperial remnant, and the wider Disney+ cast.
Imperial Remnant Army Building
The Mandalorian sub-line is the best source of post-Empire Imperial troops in the entire Black Series, offering more variety than even the Empire faction page draws from elsewhere. The complete Imperial remnant lineup from this sub-line: Imperial Stormtrooper, Remnant Stormtrooper, Incinerator Trooper, Artillery Stormtrooper, Dark Trooper Deluxe, HK-87, New Republic Security Droid, Imperial Armored Commando, and Imperial Praetorian Guard. With Moff Gideon commanding and the Dark Trooper looming over the shelf, this is a genuinely impressive faction display.
What to Skip
The Din Djarin variant problem is real. Eight releases of the same character in different armour configurations will test any collector’s patience. Unless you want a specific season’s look — damaged armour for season 3, Morak disguise, Pagodon configuration — Beskar Armor plus Mines of Mandalore covers the essential display bases. The multiple Grogu-paired Deluxe sets also overlap significantly — Arvala-7 and Maldo Kreis are both Din Djarin with Grogu in different environments, and one paired Deluxe is usually sufficient alongside a standalone Grogu.

Secondary Market
Most Mandalorian mainline figures are available at or below retail on the secondary market given the sub-line’s large production runs. The Speeder Bike Scout Trooper and The Child Amazon exclusive commands the highest premium given its desirability as a display piece. Remnant Stormtrooper (Target exclusive) is modestly harder to find at retail price. Credit Collection figures were produced in reasonable numbers and are straightforward to locate. The Paz Vizsla Deluxe (Target exclusive) remains the most sought-after early figure after Moff Gideon, given that the standard Paz Vizsla release arrived three years later.
