Overview

Din Djarin Beskar Armour at the Credit Collection is the second Credit Collection entry for the Mandalorian warrior — a repaint of the 2020 Beskar Armour source body (figure id=25857) in the distinctive end-credit artwork aesthetic. Released November 2021 exclusively at Amazon. Amazon exclusive at $26.49. 21 joints. Five accessories: a removable plastic cape, a blaster, a blaster rifle, a jet-pack, and a collectible Imperial Credit coin. This is the second of three Credit Collection Din Djarin releases.

The Second Credit Collection Mandalorian

This is a distinct release from the 2020 Wave 1 Din Djarin (Credit Collection) — different source body (Beskar Armour vs the earlier 2019 body), different accessory count (five vs four, with the addition of the jet-pack), and different year. The 2021 Beskar Armour source body is structurally a later tooling with the full Beskar suit configuration that replaced the earlier partially-Beskar Season 1 look.

The Credit Collection sub-line’s three Din Djarin releases trace the character’s different armour configurations across the series, each repainted in the end-credit artwork palette for each respective year.

The Five-Accessory Loadout

Blaster — fits exceptionally well into the right hand with the index finger on the trigger. The holster is the perfect size.

Blaster rifle — can be plugged into a hole in the back of Din Djarin. Standard back-plug stowage.

Removable plastic cape — can be taken off by pulling it over the helmet.

Jet-pack — plugs firmly into three holes in the back of the figure. It’s possible to attach the jet-pack with the plastic cape simultaneously, but the cape gets in the way and it doesn’t look great. The jet-pack-only or cape-only configurations are the cleaner display states.

Imperial Credit coin — despite the later release year, this second CC Mandalorian still includes an Imperial Credit rather than a New Republic Credit. The packaging text uses the same “Galactic Credit” language but references the Imperial-Credits-after-the-fall-of-the-Empire context.

No head underneath the helmet — standard integrated Mandalorian character-class design.

Articulation

21 joints. Ball-jointed top neck, ball-jointed lower neck, ball-jointed shoulders, ball-jointed elbows, swivel forearms, ball-jointed wrists, ball-jointed upper body, ball-jointed hips, swivel thighs, swivel joints above and below the knees, ball-jointed ankles. Above baseline through dual-axis neck, swivel forearms, and dual-axis knee engineering. The figure stands well on display without falling over.

Amazon exclusive Credit Collection release at $26.49 — released November 2021 as the second Amazon Credit Collection Mandalorian. Amazon’s Credit Collection exclusives across 2020-2022 form a distinct Amazon-channel sub-cluster: Din Djarin Wave 1 (2020), Death Trooper (2020), this Beskar Armour Din Djarin (2021), and Din Djarin Tatooine (2022). For collectors building a complete Credit Collection, the Amazon channel required four separate acquisitions.

Single-carded Amazon exclusive Credit Collection release with dedicated Credit Collection cardback, November 2021. Available on the secondary market. Verify all five accessories — cape, blaster, blaster rifle, jet-pack, and Imperial Credit coin — are present.

Verdict

Din Djarin Beskar Armour (Credit Collection) is the second Credit Collection Mandalorian entry, adding the jet-pack to the loadout carried by the 2020 Wave 1 release — the five-accessory configuration with pluggable jet-pack covers more equipment configurations than the cape-only Wave 1 version, the right-hand blaster grip and holster work cleanly, and the figure stands reliably. The cape-plus-jet-pack simultaneous display is possible but not ideal visually.
