Overview
The Force Ghosts 3-Pack is the only Black Series release that puts all three Return of the Jedi Force Spirits together in a single set — Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Yoda in translucent blue deco that replicates the glowing apparition effect from the Endor celebration scene. Each figure in the set is cast in translucent light blue plastic with standard Black Series articulation. These aren’t static display pieces — full articulation is retained, which means they can be posed. For the specific display context they’re designed for (the Endor throne room finale, three Force Spirits standing together) they’re effective. The translucent plastic catches light in a way that painted figures don’t, and the effect in direct light is genuinely close to what the films showed.
The Three Figures
Anakin Skywalker (Force Spirit) is the redeemed Anakin — the unmasked, post-ROTJ face that replaced Sebastian Shaw’s original appearance with Hayden Christensen’s likeness in the 2004 DVD revision. Obi-Wan Kenobi (Force Spirit) is the Alec Guinness-likeness Obi-Wan from ROTJ. Photo Real face printing. The flowing Jedi robes translate well into translucent plastic — the layered fabric reads clearly in the moulding, and the blue cast doesn’t obscure the detail.
Yoda (Force Spirit) is the smallest figure in the set and arguably the most striking — the translucent plastic amplifies the sense of a luminous presence more than it does for the taller human figures, where the light doesn’t reach all the way through. Yoda at this scale in translucent blue is immediately recognisable and immediately right.
The ROTJ 40th Anniversary Context
This set is part of the 2023 Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary programme — the wave that also delivered Boba Fett ROTJ, the Emperor, Bib Fortuna, Stormtrooper ROTJ, Wicket, Princess Leia Endor, Han Solo Endor, and the Rebel Commando Endor Deluxe. The Force Ghosts 3-Pack is the Hasbro Pulse / ShopDisney exclusive anchor of that programme — the set that covers the finale’s most emotionally significant image, the three mentors standing together at the edge of the celebration.
The individual figures in this set also exist as standalone releases: Anakin Skywalker (Force Spirit), Obi-Wan Kenobi (Force Spirit), and Yoda (Force Spirit) are each available separately. Display Notes
The obvious display is the Endor finale configuration: all three standing together, ideally with the 40th Anniversary ROTJ figures around them — the Emperor’s death, Luke’s confrontation, the celebration. The translucent blue figures read as a group distinctly from the opaque painted figures around them, which is exactly the visual effect the films created.
The set also works on a dedicated Force Spirit shelf alongside the separately released Qui-Gon Jinn (Force Spirit) from the Obi-Wan Kenobi sub-line — four Force Spirits in translucent blue is a coherent display within the broader collection.

The Force Ghosts 3-Pack is the correct way to acquire all three ROTJ Force Spirits — the set packaging, the unified translucent deco, and the $77.99 price point are all better than hunting three individual releases separately. The translucent plastic effect is more convincing in person than it reads in product images. For collectors building a ROTJ display this is an essential set; for collectors who want a focused Force Spirit shelf it’s the anchor piece.
