Kuiil (Credit Collection) — Star Wars The Black Series

Overview

Kuiil at the Credit Collection captures the canonical Ugnaught vapour farmer from The Mandalorian Season 1 through the distinctive end-credit artwork aesthetic. Released early February 2022 exclusively at Amazon. Amazon exclusive at $26.49. 17 joints. Five accessories: a blaster rifle with removable strap, a cap with integrated goggles, a backpack and scarf combo, and a collectible Galactic Credit coin. The figure is a repaint of the 2020 Black Series Kuiil (figure id=25918).

The Five-Accessory Loadout

Blaster rifle — can hold it well with both hands, though not possible to put the index finger on the trigger in a shooting pose. The rifle can be hung over Kuiil’s shoulders instead. The strap on the blaster rifle can be taken off.

Cap — fits perfectly onto Kuiil’s head. The goggles are part of the cap and not removable separately — they’re integrated into the cap component as a single piece.

Backpack and scarf combo — these are one single component. Kuiil can be displayed with them on or off. The combined removal gives you a choice between the fully-equipped exploration configuration and the stripped-back vapour-farmer at-rest configuration.

Galactic Credit coin — the 2022 Amazon CC coin accessory. The pouches on the belt are non-functional sculpt detail.

The Outstanding Head Sculpt

Hasbro sculpted the figure well — especially the head sculpt, which looks outstanding. The canonical Ugnaught facial features are rendered with above-average detail commitment for the species class. The Credit Collection repaint preserves this sculpt quality.

Scale Note

Kuiil is pretty tall for an Ugnaught and the figure is only about one head shorter than a regular Black Series 6” figure. Standard Ugnaught species-specific scale that is taller than one might expect for the canonical stocky character class.

Articulation

17 joints. Standard Phase 4 baseline articulation. Kuiil stands well on display with no balancing problems.

Distribution

Amazon exclusive Credit Collection release at $26.49 — released early February 2022. Part of the 2022 multi-retailer CC cluster spanning Amazon, Fan Channel, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, Target, and Hasbro Pulse.

Secondary Market

Single-carded Amazon exclusive Credit Collection release, February 2022. Available on the secondary market. Verify all components — blaster rifle, detachable strap, cap, backpack/scarf combo, and Credit coin — are present.

Verdict

Kuiil (Credit Collection) is a well-sculpted Amazon-exclusive Credit Collection entry with a practical five-component loadout — the outstanding head sculpt is the highlight, the cap-with-integrated-goggles delivers clean single-component headgear, the backpack/scarf on-or-off choice covers two display configurations, and the figure balances reliably.

The can’t-do-trigger-finger-shooting-pose rifle grip is the minor limitation. As a CC release this is a novelty artistic interpretation, and the Kuiil character class is one of the more distinctive species representations in the sub-line.

Buy this if you collect the Credit Collection as a complete set or appreciate the outstanding Ugnaught head sculpt in the CC format.
